oh, hey
Goodbye Midwest, hello East Coast, dolls!
Originally born in Michigan and after 11 years in Chicago, Madeline is officially a Brooklyn resident. She holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Loyola University Chicago with a minor concentration in Theatre. Yes, she always intended to be an actor but enjoyed sitting in math classes.
Following undergrad, Madeline studied at Black Box Acting Studio and graduated as a member of The ACADEMY, a conservatory-style five-month training program rooted in Meisner & Viewpoints, founded by current Steppenwolf co-Artistic Director, Audrey Francis.
While collaborating in storefront Chicago theater and independent film, she also worked as an instructor and administrator at Black Box.
Now in her New York chapter, Madeline completed the Stonestreet Advanced Screen Acting and Production Residency Program affiliated with NYU Tisch. She is a company member at Adult Film + Theatre NYC.
Last Seen: Dunyasha in The Cherry Orchard
dir. Ryan Czerwonko, Adult Film + Theatre NYC
"The cast is outstanding, and their performances make overt the eroticism implied in the play's crosscurrents of love and desire. Bernhard engagingly incarnates Dunyasha's journey through romantic excitement, jealousy, and betrayal" --Thinking Theater NYC
